SECTION 8 References and Acknowledgement
We do not claim any originality in this booklet. All we have done is present the procedures for initiating and ending Sāmāyika in an easy-to-understand manner. We have also included a collection of Sūtras that are necessary for performing Sāmāyika. We know that there may be inconsistencies in the meanings and transliterations of the Sūtras in this booklet, and for that we wish to express our sincere apologies and Michchhā Mi Dukkadam. We have used the transliteration guide adopted in the booklet "Pratikramana Sūtra" by Muni Sri Nirvāņa Sāgara, published by The Sri Arunoday Foundation in Koba, Gujarat. This booklet is an excellent source of Sūtras and Prārthanās that are presented in three different ways; in Dēvanāgari, with transliterations, and with translations. In our opinion, this booklet is a must-have booklet for all Pathaśālā teachers teaching Jain Darshan in English. The graphics in this booklet have been directly taken from the monumental work, "Tirthankar Bhagavāna Mahāvira - Illustrated," by Achārya Sri Yashodev Sūriji. We want to acknowledge the efforts of Dilip Gandhi (Vadodara, India) in helping to prepare many of the transliterations. Our special thanks to Bhanubhen Trivedi and Jitendra Trivedi for proofreading the manuscript.
