યોગદષ્ટિસમુચ્ચય ये योगिनां कुले जातास्तद्धर्मानुगताश्च ये । कुलयोगिन उच्यन्ते गोत्रवन्तोऽपि नापरे ॥२१०॥ જમ્યા જે ગિલે, તરુ ઘર્મ અનુગતા ય;
કુલગિઓ કહાય તે, ન ગોત્રવંત બીજાય, ૨૧૦. અર્થ –જેઓ ગીઓના કુલમાં જન્મ્યા છે, અને જેઓ તે યોગીઓના ધર્મને અનુગત છે, તેઓ “કુલગીએ” કહેવાય છે,–નહિં કે બીજાઓ ગોત્રર્વતે પણ.

જેઓ યોગીઓના કુલમાં જન્મ્યા છે અને જન્મથી જ તેઓના ધર્મને ઉપગત છેપામેલા છે, તથા પ્રકૃતિથી યોગિધર્મને અનુગત–અનુસરનારા એવા જે બીજાઓ પણ છે, તેઓ “કુલગી' કહેવાય છે, એમ દ્રવ્યથી અને ભાવથી જણાય છે, –નહિ કે ગોત્રવતે પણ, નહિ કે સામાન્યથી ભૂમિભવ્ય એવા બીજા પણ
જે યેગીઓના કુલમાં જન્મ્યા છે અને યોગીઓના ધર્મને જે ઉપગત છે–પામેલા છે, તે કુલગી છે. અર્થાત-જે જન્મથી જ યોગી છે, આજન્મ યોગી (Born Yogis)
છે તે કુલગી છે, મનુષ્ય કુલમાં જન્મેલે જેમ જન્મથી જ મનુષ્યગીઃ બાલ હોય છે, સિંહ કુલમાં જન્મેલે જેમ જન્મથી જ સિંહશિશુ આજન્મ હોય છે, તેમ એગિકુલમાં જન્મેલે જન્મથી જ બજેગી” હોય છે. ગી પૂર્વ જન્મમાં ગસાધના કરતાં કરતાં, આયુ પૂર્ણ થતાં જેનું ચવન
થયું છે, તેવા પૂર્વારાધક “ગભ્રષ્ટ” પુરુષે આવા કુલગી (Born Yogis) હેઈ શકે છે. જેમ જૈસર્ગિક કવિત્વશક્તિવાળા મનુષ્યો આજન્મ કવિ (Born Poets) હોય છે, તેમ આવા નૈસર્ગિક એગશક્તિવાળા મહાત્મા કુલગી આજન્મ યોગી હોય છે. આવા યેગીઓને પૂર્વારાધિત યંગસંસ્કારની જાગ્રતિ સ્વયં સહેજે કુરિત થાય છે, જાતિસ્મૃતિ આદિ જ્ઞાનની પ્રાપ્તિ પણ હોય છે, અને પૂર્વે અધૂરા છેડેલ યોગની કડીનું અનુસંધાન શીધ્ર વિના પ્રયાસે હોય છે. જેમ લાંબી મુસાફરીએ નીકળેલ મુસાફર વચ્ચમાં વિશ્રામસ્થાને વિસામો ખાય છે, રાતવાસ કરે જૂત્તિ – રોજિન જે વાતા–જેઓ યેગીઓના કુલમાં જગ્યા છે,-જન્મથી જ-
તનાતાઅને તેઓના ધર્મને અનુગત– ગિલમને અનુગત, ચે-જે એ પ્રકૃતિથી અન્ય ૫ણુ, કુરોજિન રચન્તhયોગીઓ કહેવાય છે એમ સમજામ છે,-દ્રવ્યથી અને ભાવથી. જોત્રવત્તોડજિ-ગાત્રવંતે પણ, સામાન્યથી ભૂમિભળે પણ, નારે-નહિં કે બી જ. નહિં કે બીજાઓ કલગી કહેવાય છે.
