જૈનદર્શનમાં કેટલાક વિલક્ષણ પદાર્થો અને જીવો
સંયોજન નહિ ધરાવતા શરીરવાળા જીવો પણ છે. જે સિલિકોન અર્થાત્ રેતી સ્વરૂપ છે. તે પૃથ્વીકાય, અપ્લાય, વાયુકાય સ્વરૂપ છે. તેઉકાય પ્રકાશિત શરીરવાળા છે. આ બધા જીવો એક જ સ્પર્શનેન્દ્રિય ધરાવે છે. જ્યારે અત્યંત તેજસ્વી શરીર ધરાવનાર જીવોને દેવ કહે છે. અને તેઓ પાંચ ઇન્દ્રિય ધરાવે છે. સ્થૂળ શરીર : તિર્યંચ ગતિના જીવોના શરીર અને મનુ ષ્યના શરીરને સ્થૂળ શરીર કહે છે અને દારિક વર્ગણાથી નિષ્પન્ન છે. આ દારિક વર્ગણા અમુક સંજોગોમાં ઇન્દ્રિયગમ્ય અર્થાત્ આપણી સ્થૂળ ઇન્દ્રિયોના અનુભવનો વિષય બની શકે છે. એકેન્દ્રિયથી પંચેન્દ્રિય સુધીના જીવો
