[ भवस्वरूपचिन्ता ] तदेवं निर्दम्भाचरणपटुना चेतसि भवस्वरूपं संचिन्त्यं क्षणमपि समाधाय सुधिया । इयं चिन्ताऽध्यात्मप्रसरसरसीनीरलहरी, सतां वैराग्यास्थाप्रियपवनपीना सुखकृते ॥१॥
भावार्थ : इसलिए दम्भरहित आचरण करने में निपुण और बुद्धिमान पुरुष क्षणभर के लिए मन को स्थिर कर संसार के स्वरूप का चिन्तन करे । संसारस्वरूप का चिन्तन अध्यात्म के विशाल सरोवर की जल- तरङ्ग के समान है, वह वैराग्य की आस्थारूपी मनोहरवायु से परिपुष्ट होकर सत्पुरुषों के लिए सुखदायी होता है ॥१॥
