________________ जानना ॥१५५॥ सत्तपो द्वादशविधं शुद्धज्ञानसमन्वितम् । आत्मशक्ति-समुत्थानं चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधकृत् ॥१५६॥ भावार्थ : आत्मशक्ति से उत्पन्न, चित्तवृत्ति का निरोधकर्ता और शुद्धज्ञान से युक्त सत्तप होता है, जो १२ प्रकार का है ॥१५६॥ यत्र रोधः कषायाणां, ब्रह्म ध्यानं जिनस्य च । ज्ञातव्यं तत्तपः शुद्धमवशिष्टं तु लंघनम् ॥१५७॥ भावार्थ : जिस तप में कषायों का निरोध, ब्रह्मचर्य और वीतराग का ध्यान होता हो, उसे ही शुद्ध तप समझना चाहिए, शेष सबको लंघन ही समझना ॥१५७॥ बुभुक्षा देहकार्यं वा तपसो नास्ति लक्षणम् । तितिक्षा-ब्रह्मगुप्त्यादिस्थानं ज्ञानं तु तद्वपुः ॥१५८॥ भावार्थ : क्षुधा और देह की कृशता कोई तप का लक्षण नहीं है, परन्तु तितिक्षा और ब्रह्मचर्यपालन आदि के स्थानरूप जो ज्ञान है, वही उस तप का शरीर है ॥१५८।। ज्ञानेन निपुणेनैक्यं प्राप्तं चन्दनगन्धवत् । । निर्जरामात्मनो दत्ते, तपो नान्यादृशं क्वचित् ॥१५९॥ भावार्थ : चन्दन और उसकी सुगन्ध के समान निपुण ज्ञान के साथ एकमेक हुई तपस्या आत्मा की निर्जरा करती है। २६८ अध्यात्मसार
