________________ भावार्थ : जब तक विविध प्रकार की कल्पना है, तब तक यह नटों की कला है । परन्तु जो रूप कल्पनातीत (कल्पना से परे) है, उसे तो कल्पनारहित (अकल्पक) आत्मा ही देखती है ॥१२१॥ कल्पनामोहितो जन्तुः शुक्लं कृष्णं च पश्यति । तस्यां पुनर्विलीनायामशुक्लाकृष्णमीक्षते ॥१२२॥ भावार्थ : कल्पना से मोहित प्राणी शुक्ल (सफेद) और कृष्ण (काले) को देखता है । परन्तु उस कल्पना के लय (नाश) होते ही शुक्ल या कृष्ण को नहीं देखता ॥१२२॥ तद्ध्यानं सा स्तुतिर्भक्तिः सैवोक्ता परमात्मनः । पुण्यपापविहीनस्य यद्पस्यानुचिन्तनम् ॥१२३॥ भावार्थ : इसलिए पुण्य-पाप से रहित आत्मस्वरूप का चिन्तन करना ही परमात्मा का ध्यान है, वही उसकी स्तुति है, और वही भक्ति बताई गई है ॥१२३॥ शरीररूपलावण्यवप्रच्छत्रध्वजादिभिः । वर्णितैर्वीतरागस्य वास्तवी नोपवर्णना ॥१२४॥ भावार्थ : वीतराग के शरीर, रूप, लावण्य, वप्र, छत्र और ध्वज आदि का वर्णन करने से वास्तविक प्रशंसा नहीं होती ॥१२४॥ व्यवहारस्तुतिः सेयं वीतरागात्मवर्तिनाम् । ज्ञानादीनां गुणानां तु वर्णना निश्चयस्तुतिः ॥१२५॥ २५८ अध्यात्मसार
