परिणत होते हुए कर्म को ग्रहण करने वाले रागादि करने में प्रवृत्त होता है ॥११४॥ वारि वर्षन् यथाम्भोदो धान्यवर्षी निगद्यते । भावकर्म सृजन्नात्मा तथा पुद्गलकर्मकृत् ॥११५॥
भावार्थ : जैसे पानी बरसाता हुआ बादल लोकव्यवहार में धान्य (अनाज) बरसाता है, ऐसा कहा जाता है, इसी प्रकार भावकों को उत्पन्न करती हुई आत्मा पुद्गलकर्मों का कर्ता भी कहलाती है ॥११५॥ नैगम-व्यवहारौ तु ब्रूतः कर्मादिकर्तृताम् । व्यापारः फलपर्यन्तः परिदृष्टो यदात्मनः ॥११६॥
भावार्थ : नैगमनय और व्यवहारनय आत्मा को कर्मादि का कर्ता कहते हैं, क्योंकि आत्मा का व्यापार (प्रवृत्ति) फलपर्यन्त देखा गया है ॥११६॥ अन्योऽन्यानुगतानां का तदेतदिति वा भिदा । यावच्चरमपर्यायं यथा पानीयदुग्धयोः ॥११७॥
भावार्थ : अथवा एक दूसरे में परस्पर मिले हुए नयों में 'वह यह है', इस प्रकार का दूध और पानी के समान अन्तिम पर्याय तक भेद कहाँ से हो सकता है? हर्गिज नहीं हो सकता ! ॥११७॥
