________________ भिन्नाभ्यां भक्तवित्तादिपुद्गलाभ्यां च ते कुतः। स्वत्वापत्तिर्यतो दानं हरणं स्वत्वनाशनम् ॥१०६॥ भावार्थ : आत्मा से भिन्न भक्त (भोजन) और धन आदि पुद्गलों से दान और हरण कैसे हो सकता है? क्योंकि दान स्वकीयत्व की प्राप्तिरूप है और हरण स्वकीयत्व का नाशरूप है ॥१०६॥ कर्मोदयाच्च तद्दानं हरणं वा शरीरिणाम् । पुरुषाणां प्रयासः कस्तत्रोपनमति स्वतः ॥१०७॥ भावार्थ : और फिर दान और हरण दोनों प्राणियों के कर्मोदय से होते हैं, वे अपने आप ही परिणत होते (उदय में आते) हैं, इसमें पुरुषों (आत्माओं) को कौन-सा प्रयास करना होता है? ॥१०७॥ स्वगताभ्यां तु भावाभ्यां केवलं दानचौर्ययोः । अनुग्रहोपघातौ स्तः परापेक्षा परस्य न ॥१०८॥ भावार्थ : केवल आत्मा में स्थित दान और चोरी के भाव (परिणाम विकल्प) से अनुग्रह और उपघात होता है, इसमें अन्य को अन्य की अपेक्षा नहीं होती ॥१०८॥ पराश्रितानां भावानां कर्तृत्वाद्यभिमानतः । कर्मणा बध्यतेऽज्ञानी, ज्ञानवांस्तु न लिप्यते ॥१०९॥ अधिकार अठारहवाँ २५३
