________________ इससे आत्मा की कथञ्चित् मूर्तिमत्ता (रूपित्व) सिद्ध होती है। अतः मूर्तिमत्ता के कारण आत्मा को देह के साथ अभिन्न माना जाता है।" ॥३४॥ तन्निश्चयो न सहते यदमूर्तो न मूर्तताम् । अंशेनाऽप्यवगाहेत पावकः शीततामिव ॥३५॥ भावार्थ : इस बात को निश्चयनय सहन नहीं करता, वह कहता है-जैसे अग्नि ठंडी नहीं होती, वैसे ही अमूर्त आत्मा लेशमात्र भी मूर्तिमान नहीं होता ॥३५॥ उष्णस्याग्नेर्यथा योगाद् घृतमुष्णामिति भ्रमः । तथा मूर्तीगसम्बन्धादात्मा मूर्त इति भ्रमः ॥३६॥ भावार्थ : जैसे गर्म अग्नि के संयोग से घी गर्म है, ऐसी भ्रान्ति होती है, वैसे ही मूर्तिमान् अंग के संयोग (सम्बन्ध) से 'आत्मा मूर्तिमान है ।' ऐसी भ्रान्ति होती है ॥३६॥ न रूपं. न रसो गन्धो. न च स्पर्शो न चाकतिः । यस्य धर्मो न शब्दो वा तस्य का नाम मूर्त्तता ॥३७॥ भावार्थ : जिस आत्मा का धर्म-रूप नहीं, रस नहीं, गन्ध नहीं, स्पर्श नहीं, आकृति नहीं, तथा शब्द भी नहीं, उस आत्मा की मूर्त्तता (रूपीपन) कैसे सिद्ध हो सकती है? ॥३७॥ दृशाऽदृश्यं हृदाऽग्राह्यं वाचामपि न गोचरः। स्वप्रकाशं हि यद्रूपं, तस्य का नाम मूर्तता ? ॥३८॥ अधिकार अठारहवाँ
