________________ क्योंकि शुद्ध आत्मा का धर्मास्तिकाय की तरह होने का स्वभाव है ही नहीं ॥१९॥ यथा तैमिरिकश्चन्द्रमप्येकं मन्यते द्विधा । अनिश्चयकृतोन्मादस्तथाऽऽत्मानमनेकधा ॥२०॥ भावार्थ : जैसे रतौंधी (नेत्ररोग) वाला व्यक्ति एक चन्द्रमा को भी दो रूप में जानता-देखता है, वैसे ही निश्चय के अज्ञान के कारण उन्मत्त पुरुष एक आत्मा के अनेक प्रकार मानता है ॥२०॥ यथाऽनुभूयते ह्येकं स्वरूपास्तित्वमन्वयात् । सादृश्यास्तित्वमप्येकमविरुद्धं तथाऽऽत्मनः ॥२१॥ भावार्थ : जैसे अन्वय से आत्मा के स्वरूप का अस्तित्व एक ही अनुभूत (महसूस) होता है, वैसे ही आत्मा के सादृश्य का अस्तित्व भी एक ही है, इसमें किसी प्रकार का विरोध नहीं है ॥२१॥ सदसद्वादपिशुनात् संगोप्य व्यवहारतः । दर्शयत्येकतारत्नं सतां शुद्धनयः सुहृत् ॥२२॥ भावार्थ : शुद्धनयरूपी मित्र स्याद्वाद को बताने वाले व्यवहार में रक्षा करके सज्जनों को एकतारूपी रत्न दिखाताबताता है ॥२२॥ २२८ अध्यात्मसार
