समापत्तिरिह व्यक्तमात्मनः परमात्मनि । अभेदोपासनारूपस्ततः श्रेष्ठतरोह्ययम् ॥५९॥
भावार्थ : इस ज्ञानयोग में प्रवर्तमान आत्मा को परमात्मा के साथ एकत्व की प्राप्ति होती है। इस कारण यह अभेदोपासनारूप ज्ञानयोग ही सबसे श्रेष्ठ है ॥५९॥ उपासना भागवती सर्वेभ्योऽपि गरीयसी । महापापक्षयंकरी तथा चोक्तं परैरपि ॥६०॥
भावार्थ : भगवान की उपासना सबसे बड़ी है, तथा वह महापाप का क्षय करने वाली है । इस सम्बन्ध में अन्य दार्शनिकों ने भी कहा है ॥६०॥ योगिनामपि सर्वेषां मद्गतेनाऽन्तान्मना । श्रद्धावान् भजते यो मां स मे युक्ततमो मतः ॥६१॥
भावार्थ : सभी योगियों में जो श्रद्धावान् योगी मेरे अन्दर स्थित अन्तरात्मा के रूप में सदा मुझे भजता है, उसे ही मैने अत्यन्त योग्य माना है। इस श्लोक का रहस्यार्थ यह है कि भक्ति के बिना समस्त योग निष्फल हैं। भक्ति में ही सभी योगों का समावेश हो जाता है । परब्रह्म के उपाय के उपासकों समस्त योगियो में जो श्रद्धावान् (मुमुक्षु) मेरे अन्दर स्थित अन्तरात्मा के रूप में (आत्मरूप में) मेरी उपासना करता भक्ति करता है; उसे मैने सभी योगियों में श्रेष्ठ माना है ॥६१॥ १८६
