________________ विपरीत अनुगमन करने (प्रतिस्त्रोतोऽनुगामी होने) से लोकोत्तरचरित्र का धारक होता है ॥५३॥ लब्धान् कामान् बहिःकुर्वन्नकुर्वन् बहुरूपताम् । स्फारीकुर्वन् परं चक्षु रपरं च निमीलयन् ॥५४॥ भावार्थ : प्राप्त हुए काम-भोगों को दूर ठेलता हुआ, तथा बहुरूपियापन नहीं धारण करने वाला, वह ज्ञानयोगी ज्ञानचक्षु को विकसित करता (खोलता) है और अज्ञानचक्षु को बन्द करता है। ज्ञानयोगी प्राप्त हो सकने वाले इष्ट कामों (भोगों) को मन रूपी घर से बाहर फेंक देता है, उनका बहिष्कार कर देता है, वह क्षणभर में रागी, क्षण में विरागी, एक क्षण में रुष्ट और दूसरे ही क्षण तुष्ट; इस प्रकार का बहुरूपियापन कदापि नहीं अपनाता । वह उस समय निर्मलता के कारण उत्कृष्ट (ज्ञानरूपी) नेत्रों को उघाड़ देता है और दूसरे चर्मनेत्रोंअज्ञाननेत्रों को बन्द कर देता है। अर्थात् वह आत्मध्यान में इतना तल्लीन हो जाता है कि उसके अज्ञाननेत्र स्वतः सर्वथा बन्द हो जाते हैं, अज्ञान स्वयमेव भाग जाता है ॥५४॥ पश्यन्नन्तर्गतान् भावान् पुर्णभावमुपागतः । भुञ्जानोऽध्यात्मसाम्राज्यमवशिष्टं न पश्यति ॥५५॥ भावार्थ : और फिर वह अपनी आत्मा में रहे हुए पदार्थों का निरीक्षण करता हुआ पूर्णता (पूर्णभाव) को प्राप्त १८४ अध्यात्मसार
