________________ अतएव हि सुश्राद्धचरणस्पर्शनोत्तरम् । दुष्पालश्रमणाचारग्रहण विहित तं जिनैः ॥२६॥ भावार्थ : इसी कारण पहले सुश्रावक के चारित्र (आचरण) का स्पर्श करने के बाद पालने में दुष्कर श्रमणाचार ग्रहण करने का विधान जिनेश्वरों ने किया है ॥२६॥ एकोद्देशेन संवृत्तं कर्म यत् पौर्वभूमिकम् । दोषोच्छेदकरं तत्स्याज्ज्ञानयोगप्रवृद्धये ॥२७॥ भावार्थ : पूर्वभूमिका के रूप में जो कर्म एक के उद्देश से किया हो, वह कर्म दोषों को नष्ट करके ज्ञानयोग की वृद्धि के लिए होता है ॥२७॥ अज्ञानिनां तु यत्कर्म न ततश्चित्तशोधनम् । यागादेरतथाभावान्म्लेच्छादिकृतकर्मवत् ॥२८॥ भावार्थ : अज्ञानीजनों का जो कर्म (क्रिया) है, उससे चित्तशुद्धि नहीं होती, क्योंकि म्लेच्छ वगैरह तमोगुणी लोगों द्वारा किए हुए कर्म की तरह यज्ञादि (स्थूल) क्रियाएँ करने से उनमें तथा प्रकार का भाव पैदा नहीं होता ॥२८॥ न च तत्कर्मयोगेऽपि फलसंकल्पवर्जनात् । संन्यासो ब्रह्मबोधाद्वा सावद्यत्वात् स्वरूपतः ॥२९॥ भावार्थ : वे यज्ञयागादि कर्मयोग होते हुए भी उनमें फल के संकल्प के त्याग से अथवा ब्रह्म के बोध से सन्यास १७६ अध्यात्मसार
