भावार्थ : दृष्ट (प्रत्यक्ष) और इष्ट अर्थ के विरोधरहित आगम (शाब्द प्रमाण) से आत्मा जाना जाता है । उस आगम के वक्ता समस्त दोषरहित सर्वज्ञ भगवान् ने उस आत्मा को देखा है ॥२४॥ अभ्रान्तानां च विफला नामुष्मिक्यः प्रवृत्तयः । परबन्धनहेतोः कः स्वात्मानमवसादयेत् ॥२५॥
भावार्थ : भ्रान्तिरहित पुरुषों की परलोक-सम्बन्धी प्रवृत्तियाँ निष्फल नहीं जातीं । कौन ऐसा पुरुष है, जो पर के बन्धन हेतु अपनी आत्मा को विषाद में डालेगा ? कोई भी नहीं ॥२५॥ सिद्धिः स्थाण्वादिवद् व्यक्ता संशयादेव चात्मनः । असौ खरविषाणादौ व्यस्तार्थविषयः पुनः ॥२६॥
भावार्थ : लूंठ आदि के समान संशय से ही आत्मा की सिद्धि स्पष्टरूप से होती है । क्योंकि संशय भी तो खर और सींग आदि में भिन्न-भिन्न अर्थ का विषय होता है ॥२६।। अजीव इति शब्दश्च, जीवसत्तानियंत्रितः । असतो न निषेधो, यत्संयोगादिनिषेधनात् ॥२७॥
