________________ यो न मुह्यति लग्नेषु , भावेष्वौदयिकादिषु। आकाशमिव पड्केन , नांऽसौ पापेन लिप्यते // 3 // जो कर्म उदये राग द्वेष न करे नर सम में रहे। सुख प्राप्ति में आनंद ना हो दुःख भी हँसके सहे। ज्यों पंक से नभ लेप ना हो पाप त्यों टिकता नहीं। ना राग हो ना द्वेष हो तो कर्म बंध सकता नहीं॥३॥ जो लगे हुवे औदयिक भावों में नहीं फंसता, वह जीव पाप से लिप्त नहीं होता। वैसे ही जैसे आकाश कभी कीचड़ से लिप्त नहीं होता। Just like the sky cannot be dragged down to quagmire, likewise one who is free from the evils of attachment and aversion caused by the surfacing of 'karmas', remains uneffected by states of happiness and unhappiness. Such a man cannot be dragged down to the 'Karmic' cycle. {27}
