________________ विषं विषस्य वह्वेश्च, वह्निरेव यदौषधम्। तत्सत्यं भवभीतानामुपसर्गेऽपि यन्न भीः // 7 // विष नाश विष ही करे अग्नि अग्नि नाश करे सदा। भवभीत मुनि उपसर्ग के भय से न डरता है कदा॥ संसार भय से जो डरे उपसर्ग से उनको न डर। .. हँसते हुए उपसर्ग सहते मानते हैं कर्म-हर // 7 // विष ही विष का तथा अग्नि ही अग्नि का औषध बनता है, यह सत्य है। उसी प्रकार संसार से भयभीत बनी आत्मा को उपसर्ग प्राप्त होने पर भी कोई भय नहीं होता। As it is true that treatment of a poison is another poison and a fire is quashed with the help of another fire so also it is true that in order to be free from fears of terrible afflictions on the path of liberation one has to be deeply frightened by this mundane world. {175}
