________________ सुलभं वागनुच्चारं मौनमेकेन्द्रियेष्वपि / पुद्गलेष्वप्रवृत्तिस्तु, योगानां मौनमुत्तमम्॥7॥ वाणी नहीं उच्चारना यह मौन का नहिं अर्थ है। इस मौन में एकेन्द्रियादि जीव पूर्ण समर्थ है। जो पुदग्लों में योगत्रय की निवृत्ति को धारते। वह मौन सच्चा मौन है आगे सभी अघ हारते॥7॥ वाणी का उच्चारण नहीं करने रूप मौन एकेन्द्रियों को भी सुलभ है लेकिन पुद्गलों में मन वचन काया की अप्रवृत्ति ही श्रेष्ठ मौन कहलाता है। To not to utter the spoken word is not true speechlessness.
