85. (1) A. omits the first word, I. F. fan for far suggested by J. The former word in the latter sense, i. e. to imply three times, is not generally used. B. तेभ्योऽपि दक्षिणं दद्यात् । (2) B. वर्जयेत् ।
Between lines 86 and 87, the lines 22 to 25 of the next chapter are repeated in I. through some confusion.
87. (1) A. F. अधिकरण, B. प्रघर्षण । ( 2 ) B. स्वपतिभ्यो, which seems to be the proper form.
89. I. leaves out f
90. A. C. F. have a lacuna, B. तान्य for न्तादि ।
91. A. C. F. रेवकर्षण, B. लयावास्तुणवं for the second pāda. It should be noticed that this last line of the chapter does not complete the
verse.
