* The verse apparently aims at adoring the goddess of eloquence under two of her names, vie., Sirada and Bhāratt. The author appears to adore her as the latter in the form of the writti called Bharati defined a 'भारती सतपायो वागव्यापारी नटाययः ।' (Sahitya-darpaya, ch. VI, v. 29).
