This inscription was first discovered by a Brahmabhatta of Jodhpur named Nannurâma whose zeal for antiquarian matters is as unflagging as it is disinterested. It was found at Buchkala in the Bilâdâ district, Jodhpur State. It is incised on a pilaster on the proper right forming part of the shrine wall jutting out into the sabhamandapa of what is popularly known there as the temple of Pârvati. The inscription contains twenty lines of, on the whole, well [Vou, IX. 1 Read चैतच्छासनं. 1 This word is repeated unnecessarily. The original inscription ends at fa; and after that begins again the forged part which goes on till 1. 55 at the close. It is engraved so carelessly that I am by no means certain of my reading of it.
