UNAMANJERI PLATES OF ACHYUTARAYA. minister, the secretary (ráyasa) Venkatadri, a son of the minister Timmsys and grande of the minister MoBalimadûvirama, who belonged to the gôtra of Harita, was a distinguished student of the Yajurvêda, and followed the sutra of  pastamba. Verse 109 then states that this is an edict (fâsana) of Achyutaraye. Verses 110 and 111 add that this edict on copper, by the order of the Maharaya Achyatendra, was composed by Sabhâpati, and engraved by Vtranáchårya, the son of Mallana. And the insoription ends with five of the ordinary benedictive and imprecatory verses. Below it is engraved, in large Kanarose characters, the word fori-Viru(ra)paksha. TEXT.
