Aryan group, especially because, owing to its long isolation from the rest, it has. preserved words and forms which have perished from them, and exhibits at times very singular developments of its own.
The following list is the result of much enquiry, and is believed to be nearly, if not quite, exhaustive. The RASAKALLOLA or" Waves of Delight" by Dinkrishna Dâs, a work of the early part of the sixteenth century, is the most celebrated Oriya poem, and is still well-known; its songs are even now frequently heard at village meetings, and most educated Oriyas know whole cantos by heart. I propose to give some notices of it at a future time.

Those marked can be obtained in Balasor, but Puri and Katak are better places to search for them in, especially Puri.]
