JAINISM'S APPROACH & CONTRIBUTION TO MEDITATION : "PARIDARSHANA" Jainism has its own, the Omniscient - prescribed unique approach, analysis, form, technique, path and process of meditation (as pointed out in the beginning) based on Integrated, Total, All-sided, "Syadavadic", Soul-Centred observation of thing and being. This totality of view-Paridarshana-is acquired by knowing and realizing the one, the Self, as visualized and preached by BHAGAWAN MAHAVIRA : "Je Egam Janai, Se Savvam Janai" -(12) (HE KNOWS EVERYTHING, WHO KNOWS THE ONE: WHO REALIZES THE SELF - THE SOUL) This realization is materialized by the above mentioned Integrated form of Meditation (which will be analysed more clearly hereafter while analysing the Shukla Dhyana in its varied forms). This may also be identified as "Prashashta Dhyana" (the worthy, true, pure, appropriate one) and "Apramad Yoga" - the state of total, integrated, allsided, self- pointed awakening full awareness and uninterrupted continuous observation of the Self and its existence.
