अन्वयभाष्यम्। यः पूर्वोक्तः पुरुषः विश्वस्मै भुवनाय समग्रप्रपञ्चाय तदर्थं दृशे द्रष्टुं प्रकाशनार्थं दर्शनार्थं च देवं देवतात्मानं स्वः प्रकाशकं ज्योतिःस्वरूपं आत्मानं स्थावर-जगमान्तरात्मसत्त्वकं सचेतनं आदित्यं अभुं सर्वलोकप्रत्यक्षं स्वं स्वकीयं दिवं अन्तः शुलोके मण्डले अन्तरे ऊर्ध्वं उच्चतरं श्रेष्ठं प्रारोहयत् सृष्ट्यादौ आरोहयामास, सः मध्यमलोकाध्यक्षः इन्द्रः विश्वेष भुवनानां देवानां च अधिपतिः ॥
अत्र “ दृशे विख्ये च” इति (पा. सू. ३-४-११) सूत्रात् तुमुन् प्रत्ययार्थे दृश्धातोः दृशे इति आर्षं रूपं इति गम्यते ॥
COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATION He, the famous Indra established the sun for the whole universe to see, for seeing and lighting, visible to all and to all the world; high in the sky, as highest and in the orbit in the sky. Surya is a god, a bright light and the soul-force of the mobile and immobile.* He is Indra of the mid-world and overlord of all.
सप्तमी ऋक् । यो वायुं चेतयत्यन्तरिक्षेऽन्तर्हितो यो ज्योतिरमृतेन ॥ विश्वस्यैव जीवसे चेतेऽन्त
रिन्द्रो विश्वषां पतिः स मध्यमः ॥ ७ ॥ पदपाठ :- यः । वायुम् । चेतयति । अन्तरिक्षे ।
अन्तरिति। हितः । यः । ज्योति । अमृतैन ।। विश्वस्य । एव । जीवसे । चेतते । अन्तरिति । इन्द्रः। विश्वेषाम् । पतिः। सः । मध्यमः॥
He activises Vayu, the wind in the mid-air. He is hidden there and shines as light. He vibrates as light of consciousness within all with his Ambrosia for the very life of the universe. He is Indra of the mid-world and overlord of all.
