सप्तमी ऋक् ।
ब्रह्म॑णस्पते॒ तव॒ यद् भू॒तं भव्यं
दृश्यमेतत् परि वर्तमानं विश्व॑म् ॥
वि॒िश्वथा॒ सन्त॑ता वा॒च ए॒व भूति
र्वाग् वि॒दा प्रत्यु॑ता॒ पुरु॑षेण॒ स्वात्म्य॑म् ॥ ७ ॥
ब्रह्म॑णः । प॒ते । तव॑ । यत् । भूतं । भव्यम् । दृश्य॑म् । एतत् । परं । वर्तमानं । विश्वम् ॥

विश्वऽथा । सम्ऽर्तता । वाचः । एव । भूर्तिः ।
वाक् । वि॒िदा । प्रति॑ । ऋ॒ता । पुरुषेण । सुऽआत्म्यम् ॥

Oh Brahmanaspati, this your ever-changing universe past, present and future, is certainly pervaded by Vak, omnifarious and continuous. That Vak· is indeed one with you, the Purusha, by identity.
अन्वय भाष्यम् ।
ब्रह्मणस्पते ! तव यत् खलु भूतं आदिसृष्टेः अद्ययावत् सम्भूतम्, तथा भव्यं भाव्यं इतः परं च आप्रलयं सम्भाव्यमानम्, तथा इदानीं परिवर्तमानं सर्वतः विद्यमानं परिवर्तनशीलं च सत् दृश्यं प्रत्यक्षं विश्वं जगदेतत् त्वदायत्तं भवति इति यावत्, तदेतत् सर्वमपि तवैव वाचः वाङ्मुखेनैव विश्वथा विश्वतो रूपेण सन्तता व्याप्ता विस्तृता च भूतिः ऐश्वर्यम्, एतेन विश्वविभूतियोगेन तव सा वाक् देवतात्मा पुरुषेण त्वया विदा ज्ञानशक्त्या सात्म्यं तदिदं वैश्वरूप्यं प्रतिसङ्गता, एवं नामरूपात्मना विश्वरूपेण विस्तृतं सर्वमपि तवैवेति
भावः ॥
COMMENTARY-SUMMARY TRANSLATION
Oh Brahmanaspati ! this your universe from the first creation to now, from now on till its dissolution and as existing all-round, ever-changing and visible, is all under your control. This is all through the power of your Vāk only. Through your Vāk, your greatness manifested itself in the form of these omnifarious forms. Vak, which is yours, is one with you. Even in this manifestation in the form of the universe of name and form, Her pervasion is yours only.
