ગુજરાતી જાણનાર પ્રજા વર્ગને અભિનંદનીય થઈ પડે તેમાં આશ્ચર્ય નથી. ગ્રંથની રચના સરલતા, વિષય આદિને ઉચિત રૂપ આપવા આપને પ્રયત્ન પ્રશસ્ય છે, અને આશા છે કે શાલાઓ, લાઈબ્રેરીઓ વિગેરે આપના પ્રદીપને સંગ્રહના ઉચિત ધારશે તથા પ્રજા વર્ગ એ પ્રદીપની પ્રભાવડે પિતાના સંસ્કૃત વિષયક અજ્ઞાનતિમિરને દૂર કરી આપના પ્રયત્નને અનુમોદન આપશે.

I have read your new work called “Sanskrit Bhasha Pradeep" which seems to me to supply a long-felt want in Gujarati. The book is admirably adapted for the use of all those that wish to learn Sanskrit Grammar and composition without much expenditure of time and trouble. In its matter, method, arrangement and treat-ment, your book compares very favourably with English works on the same subject, and I have no doubt that it will be found very useful to students of Sanskrit in Schools and Colleges, not to speak of those that want to learn Sanskrit privately. You certainly deserve to be congratulated upon this compilation which is calculated to greatly facilitate the study of Sanskrit through the medium of our own mother tongue, and the preparation of which must have cost you no little expense and trouble.
