एवं खु णाणिणो सारं, जंण हिंसइ किंचणं । अहिंसा समयं चेव, एतावत वियाणिया ॥
EVAM KHU NANINO SARAM, JAM NA HIMSAI KIMCANAM |
AHIMSĀ SAMAYAM CEVA ETĀVAMTAM VIYĀŅIYA |
The moral to be learnt by the highly modest people is non-violence – not to kill or harm any living being. We should understand the principle of Ahimsā (nonviolence) and thus have the feeling of equality towards all living beings.
