He explained that he was Kshatriya-(a warrior class) turned recluse, and because of deep-rooted habit he could remain without wine and meat. "The other devotees of Mahavir also do like that secratly." Shrenik gave him advice not to do irreligious work and that he shonld not put false charges on other innocent monks to hide his own weaknesses.
