They gave him milk to drink. The friend the of Sheth thought: "If I get some suitable person, I would give him this milk as charity. I can thereby make my life fruitful." There was a muni who observed 'masik vrat.' He had practised fasts. He came to the city for breaking his fasts. He did not get alms from anywhere in the city. He then came to the forest with an empty bowl. There he met the friend of the Sheth. He bowed to the muni and said: "Prabhu ! I have got some milk. If you will kindly accept this milk, I shall be highly obliged." i ---
