Jaladasamaya has been construed as a lover gone out to the distant lands (only to come back in the next session), the love lorn beloved Sarad presented herself as if to make a display of her own state bearing semblance of one of the ladies doomed to separation anguished by the going outdoor of their newly wedded lords with inordinate passions produced every day due to separations (The Autumn, too, having excessive heat getting augmented by her separation from the Season of rains).'
"स्निग्धपत्रलतागुल्मगहनेष्वनेकतरुफलरसास्वादजनितनानाशकुनिकुलसौहित्येषु लौहित्योपकण्ठकाननेषु।"

क्षिप्रमेवान्तरिक्षमाच्छादयांचक्रुः अब्जिनीपलाशप्रकरनीलाः पयोमुचः। सततयामिनीजागरणजडतारकां प्रसादयितुमिवतदृष्टिमविरलोभिन्नमरकतश्यामशाद्वला बभूव भूतधात्री। प्रथम जलधारासारशिशिरास्तदङ्गतापमिव निर्वापयितुं निर्वातुमारभन्त संततामोदमकरन्दमांसला: कदम्बवाताः। मानसस्मरणसञ्जातरणरणकास्तदनुरागमाख्यातुमिव खेचरेन्द्रदुहितुरुत्तरां दिशमभिप्रतस्थिरे राजहंसाः । तद्विरहदाहविच्छेदाक्षमेण पत्रखण्डाडम्बरेण विहितापत्रपाणीव वर्षासलिलपूरितासु विलाससरसीषु निममज्जुरम्भोजिनीवनानि। घनधाराभिवृष्टमूर्तयस्तदर्तिदर्शनदुःखिता इव दूरविनतैः पल्लवेक्षणैरम्बुकणिकाश्रुविसरमजस्रमसृजन्नुपवनदुमाः। प्रकृतिकर्कशांस्तदङ्गसंस्पर्शयोग्यानिव कर्तुमात्मनः करानन्त:सलिलेषु जलमुचां कुक्षिषु निचिक्षेप चण्डभानुः। तस्मिन्नसकृदुत्सृष्टबाणविसरं निवारयितुमिव मकरकेतुमाबद्धकुसुमांजलिपुटान्यजायन्त केतकीकानाननि। विनोदयितुमिव तस्यारतिमनारतोदीरितमधुरकेकागीतिभिः समारभिम ताण्डवमुद्दण्डबर्हमण्डलैर्गृहशिखण्डिभिः।। एवं च विकसिताकुण्ठकलकण्ठचातककलकले कठोरदर्दुरारटितदारितश्रवसि विश्रुतापारवाहिनीपूरघूत्कारे घोरघनगर्जितारविजर्जरितरोदसि द्योतमानविद्युद्दामदारुणे विततवारिधाराधोरणिध्वस्तधीरकामुकमनसि सान्द्र कुटजदुमामोदमूच्छिता गच्छदुच्छन्नकल्पाध्वगकलापे समन्ताद्विजृम्भितेऽम्बुधरदुदिने विधुरीभूतमनसः कोशलाधिपसुतस्य। ............. ग्रीष्मकालादधिकदुःसहो बभूव वर्षासमयारम्भः।
