बृहत्प्रत्याख्यानसंस्तरस्तवाधिकार २। २७ रमें, चारित्राचारमें-इसतरह चारों आराधनाओंमें अचल (दृढ) हो तथा धैर्यगुण सहित हो, अपने और परमतके शास्त्रोंके विचारमें चतुर हो, और एकांतमें आलोचना किये गये गुप्त आचरणोंको किसीसे कहनेवाला न हो ऐसा आचार्य होता है। उसीके पास आलोचना करनी चाहिये ॥ ५७ ॥ ___ आगे आलोचनाके वाद क्षमावना करनेका विधान कहते हैं;रागेण व दोसेण व जं में अकदण्हुयं पमादेण । जो में किंचिवि भणिओ तमहं सव्वं खमावेमि ॥५८॥ रागेण वा द्वेषेण वा यत् मया अकृतज्ञत्वं प्रमादेन । यत् मया किंचिदपि भणितं तदहं सर्व क्षमयामि ॥५८॥
अर्थ-माया लोभ स्नेहरूप रागकर तथा क्रोध मान अप्रीतिरूप द्वेषकर जो मैंने अकृतज्ञपना किया अर्थात् तुम्हारे साथ अयोग्य वर्ताव किया और प्रमादसे जो कुछ भी अनुचित किसीको कहा हो उसके लिये मैं सब जनोंसे क्षमा मांगता हूं तथा मैं क्षमा करता हूं सब जीवोंको संतुष्ट करता हूं.॥ ५८ ॥
ऐसे क्षमाभावकर क्षपक संन्यास करनेकी अभिलाषाकर आचार्योंको मरणके भेद पूछता है उसका उत्तर कहते हैं;तिविहं भणियं मरणं बालाणं बालपंडियाणं च । तइयं पंडियमरणं जं केवलिणो अणुमरंति ॥ ५९॥ . त्रिविधं भणितं मरणं बालानां वालपंडितानां च । . तृतीयं पंडितमरणं यत् केवलिनो अनुम्रियते ॥ ५९॥ ..
