Ganipitak = the scriptures written and elaborated by the ganadhars. grihi dharm or grihastha dharm = householder's conduct. gunavrats = restraints that reinforce the practice of anuvrats. ichhachhand = see yathachhand victor of senses; one who has absolutely disciplined his senses. Jnanavaraniya karma = the knowledge obscuring karma karan = means karma = subtle matter particle (s) that adhere to soul and cause sufferance. Jina 1 1 kshatriya = the second of the four castes among the followers of Vedic religions in India, traditionally responsible for martial activities including ruling. kshayik = gained through destruction of karmas. kshayopashamik = gained through destruction-cum-suppression of karmas. mithyatva = unrighteousness; false perception or belief paushadh = partial ascetic vow under which a householder lives like an initiated ascetic for a specific period. prabhavak = those who influence or popularize prabhavana darshanachar = the conduct of popularising religion. sachit = infested with living organism. sadhu = a Jain ascetic. samayik = a Jain method of meditation aimed at attaining equa nimity. ५५
