અધ્યાત્મતાલોક,
[ आहे - किं सर्वे समतया योगमार्गाधिकारिणः ?एकस्वभावा न हि सर्वलोका विचित्रकर्मानुसृतेर्भमन्तः । आयुष्क-धी-शक्तिविचित्रतायामईन्ति सर्वेऽपि न मार्गमेकम् ॥४॥ समग्रसामग्र्यनुकूलताया न सम्भवः सर्वशरीरभाजाम् । न तेन सर्वेऽपि भवन्ति योग्याः साम्येन योगस्य पथेऽधिरोढुम्॥५॥ कुर्याद् यथाशक्ति तथापि नूनं कर्त्तव्यमात्माभ्युदयानुपाति । शनैः शनैः सञ्चरणेऽपि मार्गे स्थानं चिरेणाऽप्युपलभ्यते हि ॥६॥ ___ All people wandering ( in this world ) impelled by their varied Kārmic forces are of diversified natures; on account of the diversity in age, intellect and powers, all persons do not deserve to act in one and the same way. ( 4 )
It is impossible to conceive that all · embodied beings can command facility with regard to preparatory means. So all do not become equally fit to practise Yoga. ( 5 )
Yet one should indeed strive to exalt his soul according to his abilities. He, though moving slowly on the right path, reaches the goal surely even after a long time. ( 6 ) બધાએ સરખી રીતે યુગના અધિકારી છે?—
વિચિત્ર કર્મસૃષ્ટિને અનુસાર ભ્રમણ કરતા બધા લેકે એક સ્વભાવના નથી. આયુષ્ય, બુદ્ધિ અને બળમાં વિચિત્રતા હોવાને કારણે બધાઓ એક સાથે એક માર્ગ ઉપર ચાલવાને અધિકારી નથી.”–૪
સર્વ પ્રાણિઓને સમગ્ર સામગ્રીની અનુકૂળતા સંભવી શકે નહિં; એજ માટે બધાએ સરખી રીતે ગમાર્ગ ઉપર આવવાને યોગ્ય હોઈ श नहि. "-५
