પ્રકરણ. ] SPRITUAL LIGHT. परिग्रहलुब्धस्योपद्रवाःपरिग्रहस्यातिवशीभवन्तं मुष्णन्ति चौरा विषयाभिधानाः। दहत्यनङ्गो दहतः, कषायव्याधा निरुन्धन्ति पुनः समन्तात् ॥६४॥
A man who abondons himself to greed is robbed by thieves called worldly objects, is burnt by the fire of lust and is besieged all around by the hunters in the form of passions. ( 64 )
પરિગ્રહાસક્તને થતા ઉપ
“પરિગ્રહને અત્યન્ત આધીન થયેલા મનુષ્યને વિષયરૂપ ચોરે લૂટવા માંડે છે, કામાગ્નિ બાળવા માંડે છે અને કષાયરૂપ શિકારીઓ ચારે તરફથી ઘેરી લે છે. ”–૬૪.
gબરા સૂરમાર નિતિपापस्य वल्लीमसुखस्य खानि दोषावलीमातरमाहुराशाम् । आशोर्मयस्तत्र चरन्ति गाद् न यत्र भासः शशिनो रवेश्च ॥६५॥
Hope is called ( by the Yogis ) the creeper of sins, pit of misery, and source of vices ; the waves of hope dash violently in the place where neither the rays of the moon nor those of the sun are able to penetrate. ( 65 )
પરિગ્રહની જનની આશાને નિજે છે –
આશાને શાસ્ત્રકારે પાપની વેલડી, દુઃખની ખાણ અને દેશેની માતા તરીકે બતાવે છે. આશાની ઉમિઓ તેવા સ્થળે પણ અખ્ખલિત જઈ પહોંચે છે, કે જે સ્થળે ચન્દ્ર-સૂર્યની રશ્મિઓને સંચાર થત નથી.”-૬૫,
