અધ્યાત્મતત્ત્વાલાક.
છે, કારણ મામાં ફેમાં ખાય છે.
પ્રસ્તુતનુ પાષણ—
“ જેએ ગુરૂમહારાજ અનાદર કરે છે, તેઓ ખરેખર યાના પાત્ર પેાતાના કર્મના દોષથી હણાયલા તે ખીચારા કલ્યાણુના

चलश्रियै दास्यमुपैति यस्य तस्यावमानः परिषह्यते चेत् । न सह्यते तर्हि कथं गुरूणामप्यप्रिया भावुककारणं वाक् ? ॥ ८ ॥
Why should a man not put up with the unpalatable but salutory words of the preceptor when he puts up with the insult offered by a man whoseslave he becomes for the sake of wealth which is ( very ) transitory ? ( 8 )
“ ચંચલ ધનને માટે જેના દાસ થવુ પડે છે, તેનું અપમાન દિ સહન કરી લેવામાં આવે છે, તે પછી ગુરૂમહારાજનાં ( કદાચિત્ પ્રસંગ ઉપર ) નિકળેલાં અપ્રિય પણ કલ્યાણકારી ( એષધની જેમ પરિણામે હિતકારી ) વચને કેમ સહત કરવાં ન જોઇએ ? ”—૮
प्रेम्णा बलाद् वा वनितावचांसि सत्कारमार्गेऽस्खलितं नयन्ति । वाचं हितां तत्रभवद्गुरूणां न मन्वते, कीदृश एष मोहः ? ॥ ९ ॥
A man willy-nily submits unfailingly to the words of his wife through love or through force (of circumstance), while he pays no regard to the beneficial words of the revered. of infatuation is this ? ( 9 )
