[5 ] from sovereignty of three worlds and austerities etc., In the absence of such bliss, all the acquisitions of sovereignty etc. are worthless. The ascetic who is blessed wiih internal peace and quietude, acquiesces alike in, like and dislike, pleasure and pain, and eulogy and censure. All his endeavours should be directed towards spiritual progress.

एकः पापात् पतति नरके याति पुण्यात्स्वरेकः पुण्यापुण्यपचयविगमान्मोक्षमेकः प्रयाति । संङ्गान्नूनं न भवति सुखं न द्वितीयेन कार्य तस्मादेको विचरति सदानन्दसौख्येन पूर्णः ।। * Compare:
