first two leaves torn at the ends. Accented. Contains the 8th Astaka. complete. The first leaf is wanting.
As can be scen from the following colophons at the end of the 1st and the 7th Adhyāyas इति श्रीशाकलसंहितायामप्टमाष्टके प्रथमोऽध्यायः and इति श्रीशाकलसं . . . . सप्तमोऽध्यायः, the text given in the manuscript under notice professes to belong to the Sakala Sakhā of the Rgvēda Sarishita. जम्मा ते दक्षिणमिन्द्रहस्तं वसूयवो वसुपते वसूनां । विद्मा हि त्वा गोपीतं शूरगोनामस्मभ्यं चित्रं सपणं रबिन्दाः ॥ End : ___समानी व आकस्सिमाना हृदय निवः । समानमस्तु वो मनो यथा वः ससहासति ।। 49 ||-||
अग्नि देवानामवमोविष्णुः । संसमिावसे वृषन् । ऋतं च सत्यं चाभीडात् । . . . . अयं हि ते अमर्त्यः। त्वं चिदत्रिमृतजुरं ॥ - ॥ त्यांचिदीरवयन्ती रक्षाभ्यामात्वाहामपश्यन्त्वा नव ॥ Colophon:-इत्यष्टम.प्टकेऽष्टमो मायः समातः ।
