239 डॉ. आर.सी. अग्रवाल ने ओसिया में अर्द्धनारीश्वर मूर्ति की ओर संकेत किया है।'
ओसिया में सूर्य की प्रतिमा भी है, जिसके कमरे में वस्त्र (scarf) हैं और पाँवों में जूते (boots) पहने हैं।
कुबेर की प्रतिमा भीनमाल के समान ही ओसिया में भी है, जिस पर विक्रम संवत् 749 का उल्लेख है। इसमें चण्डिका के चरणों में कुबेर और गणेश है।'
ओसिया में श्रेष्ठ गुप्तकालीन मूर्तिकला के अवशेष मिलते हैं।' वास्तुकला की दृष्टि से भी ओसिया के सुन्दर मंदिर अप्रतिम है।
शक्ति की प्रतिमाओं में ओसिया की महिषासुर मर्दिनी है, जिसे जैनों ने सच्चिका बना दिया।
ओसिया वैभवशाली नगरी रही है और इसके मन्दिर श्रेष्ठ और अप्रतिम है।' नवग्रहों की सुन्दर प्रतिमाएं ओसिया के मंदिरों में देखी जा सकती है।
यह पता लगाना आवश्यक है कि ओसिया कब बसी? क्या ओसिया सचमुच इतनी प्राचीन नगरी है, जैसा कि 'उपकेशगच्छ पट्टावली' लिखा है और जैसा भाटों ने 222 विक्रम संवत बतलाया है।
यह भ्रामक धारणा है कि ओसिया में आज तक कोई भी वस्तु उत्खनन में नहीं मिली
