Truly, O Jambi, at that time and at that period, there was a city named Rãya. giha, a temple named Gunasilaa and a king named Seniya. The Lord arrived there. 146. At that time and at that period : (here the arrival of the god Mãņibbadda, in the assembly Suhammă on the throne Mânibhadda, together with one thousand residents of the fame place, is to be described exactly as in the case of Puņņabhadda. Then the exhibition of the dance and the asking of the previous birth by Goyama. Then the reply of Mahavira viz: There was a city named Manivaai, a householder named Mãnibhadda, his initiation at the hands of certain elderly monks, he studied the eleven Angas, observed asceticism for a long time, the observince of monthly fasts in which sixty meals are cut off.
