તે જોઈએ. યુરૈાપમાં દુષ્ટ જાતિભેનું અસ્તિત્વ ન હાવાથી ત્યાં જે પરિણામ દેખાય છે, તે આધાર ઘણેભાગે વંશપર ન હતાં ધંધા પર હોય છે. રેવડીન જ કહે છે કે, “ ભિક્ષુક ( Clergy ) સર્વ સાધારણ પ્રજા પુરતા વધારે દિવસ જીવે છે એટલું જ નિહ પણ તેએ ભવિષ્યની પેઢીના જનકની દૃષ્ટિએ શ્રેષ્ઠ હેાય છે એ વાત રજીસ્ટ્રાર જનરલે આપેલા આંકડા પરથી સહેલાઇથી સિદ્ધ થાય છે. પ્રે।. વ્હાઈંગને અને હેવલેાક એલીસને પણ આ વાત માન્ય છે * ભિક્ષુકાની સ ંતતિમાં મહાન અને કર્તુત્વાન સંતતિ સામાન્ય સમાજની મહાન સંતતિ કરતાં વધારે પ્રમાણમાં હાય છે. સર ફ્રાન્સિસ ગાલ્ટને કહ્યું છે કે ભિક્ષુકા ઉત્તમ જનક હાય છે, પરંતુ તેનાં કારણો હું કહી શકતા નથી આ પરિણામ સહજ સિદ્ધ થાય તેવું છે.”
