________________ Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra www.kobatirth.org Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir INTRODUCTION 25 ( 1, *1-8). Prince Keśava abhorred royalty like poison and wanted to follow the example of his father. Knowing this, Suvidhi continued to stay in the family life ( having recollected tbat Keśava was his beloved Srīmatī of the earlier life ). Observing fully the duties of a Srāvaka, he renounced worldly ties and was born as Acyutendra after Samādhimarana ( 2-5 ). xii. As Acyutendra, he shone beautiful with physical charms and ornaments ( 1, *1-8). He enjoyed the usual pleasures available there, and was, in due course, reborn as Vajranabhi ( 2-5). xiii. In the metropolis Puņdarīkiņi, prince Vajranabhi ( the son of Vajrasena and Srīkāntā ), so known significantly, had a loving beloved of lovely form, charming graces and religious inclination ( 1, # 1-8 ). He was equally full of virtues. As a result of his past Punya, he was a veritable god on earth. Understanding the nature of Saṁsāra, he accepted renunciation, giving the kingdom to his son. He observed five great vows ( pañcamahdvrata ), meditated on the sixteen topics / sodaśabhavana ) conducive to the birth of Tirthakara, and, after relinquishing the body, was born in the Sarvärthasiddhi ( 2-5 ). xiv. As Ahamindra there, he enjoyed manifold glories and comforts ( 1, *1-8). He had a highly pious temper; he wore a garland round his neck; and he had unwinking eyes. He enjoyed happiness without any attachment. He had a pure physique and spotless character. At the end of his career, his soul came to the earth to be born as a Tîrthakara ( 2-4 ).
