vitarăga, Ratnamañjūṣa ( Chandoviciti? ), Puruṣārthasiddhyupaya, Ratnakarandaka, Śāstrasārasamuccaya, Vimsatiprarūpaņa, Tribhangīsamgraha. The first 19 folios (19th folio is broken at the left end) cover the Aṣṭapadī, written in old-Kannada script. It contains only the text, but still begins with the verse vanditva etc. It is incomplete ending with dipais ca dhupaiś ca (XXV. 2). Folios after 19 are missing. The colophon of XXIV on the last page agrees with that of the printed text with minor orthographical differences.
The Ms. No. 2721 is smaller in length. Its first 102 folios are covered by the Gîtavītaraga and the subsequent ones have the Jñanacandra-ṣatpadi. It is written in OldKannada script. It has the same Mangala verse and the concluding colophons, as reproduced under M above. It contains a Kannada commentary along with the text: the opening Mangala verse, however, is in Sanskrit. On the whole, in the Kannada explanations, this commentary agrees with that in the Arrah Ms. used by me. There are some differences at the end. It gives, unlike the Arrah Ms., the meaning of the verse svasti-śrī-Belagula etc. (XXV. 15). It gives the usual colophon at the end of the work: iti śrīmad abhinava etc. It does not give the colophon : iti śrīmadrāyarāja etc. found in the Arrah Ms. I could not detect any name of the author of the Kannada commentary here.
