dealt with in two volumes (i.e.) Volumes VI and VII. The sixth volume deals with the Paicamabākávyas, other Mabākávyas and Khanda kávyas. The Pancainhākāvyas are the Raghuvamba, the Kumārasambhava, the Kirätārjuniya, the Bišupālavadba and the Naiqadha. Each of these works is represented by a large number of manuscripts and consequently a slight change has been adopted in cataloging these works. One manuscript is described in detail and the rest have been given in a tabular form, which is self-explanatory. Thus No. 2777 describes in detail a copy of the Raghuvamsa and the tabular statement begins with No. 2778 and continues ap to No. 2989. Of Mallinātha's commentary on the Raghuvamsa there are a number of copies and as before, one of them (No. 2990) is described in detail and the rest are described in tabular form (Nos. 2991-3044). Each Mabākāvya and its commetary are being dealt with in this way-- Kumāraeam bhava (Nos. 3045-3080); its vyākhyā (Mallinātha's) (Nos. 3081-89). Kirātārjuniya (Nog. 30953164) its vyākhy. (Nos. 3165-86): Siśupālavadba (Nos. 9188-8872); its vyākhyā (Nos. 3373.34:25); Naișa dha-(Nos. 3444-8605); its vyakhya (Nos. 9607-3678) Nárayaņa’s vyākhyā (3674-3689). Apart from Mallinātha's commentary there are certain other commentaries and these have been described in full. For manuscripts noticed in the tabular statement, certian special reroarks have been, given wherever necessary and they follow each Mabākāvya in order.
Nos. 3694-3739 describe the other Mabākávyas. Nos. 87403861 describe in detail the Khandakāvyas.
The next volume will deal with the remaining Mss. on Kávya. Volume VIJI will deal with Nataka in all its varieties. Volume IX will deal with Alumkāra, Chandas and Koba.
