The eighteen different names by which the goddess Sakti is worshipped in various holy places are given herein, and the inere utterance of her holy names is said to absolve the worshipper from all sin.
Beginning :
लङ्कायां शाडुरी देवी कामाक्षी काञ्चिकापुरे । प्रद्युम्ने(म्ना) सिंहळद्वीपे चामुण्डा क्रौञ्चपीठके ।। अलम्पूज्ये गळा देवी श्रीशैले भ्रमराम्बिका । कोल्लापुरे महालक्ष्मी माहुराये कवीरका (?) ।।
End :
वाराणस्यां विशालाक्षी काश्मीरे ति(तु)सरस्वती । अष्टादशसु पीठेषु योगिनां देव निर्मिता(:) ॥ तासां स्मरणमात्रेण ज्वरदारिद्र्यनाशनम् । कोटिजन्मकृतं पापमपमृत्युर्विमुच्यते ॥
