1887-91 Size - 104 in. by 44 in. Extent - 45 leaves, 13 lines to a page, about 48 letters to a line. Description -Country paper. Devanagari characters with पृष्ठमात्राs,
bold and legible writing, fairly accurate. Margins ruled in black, square blanks in the centre. The left hand lower corner is slightly worm-eaten. Not complete, as it contains
only the fourth Pāda of the third Adhyāya. Age - The Ms. has not a very old appearance. Author - Hemacandra of the Brhadvrtti; the com. is anonymous. Subject - This is a hitherto quite unknown commentary on
Hemacandra's Brhadvrtti. Begins - अहं ॥ गुण्पौ ॥ अनिर्दिष्टार्थत्वादिति । अर्थविशेषस्यानिर्देशादित्यर्थः ।
स्वार्थ इति प्रकृत्यार्थ इत्यर्थः । गोपायतीति । गुपौ रक्षणे ॥ धूप संतापे । विछत् गतौ । पणि व्यवहारस्तुत्योः। पनि स्तुतौ । तत आयप्रत्ययः। अन्य
इति जयदित्यप्रभृतयः। तदुदाहरति । शतस्य पणत इति ॥ etc. Ends -- क्वचिन्न भवतीति । असिश्छिन्न(? नत्तीत्यर्थछेद्यद्रव्यानुप्रवेशलक्षणया करस्थ
क्रियया कर्तुरेकक्रियत्वेपि क्वचिद्रहणान्न शिक्यात्मनेपदानि भवंति । इत्याचार्यश्रीहेमचंद्रविरचिते स्वोपज्ञतत्त्वप्रकाशिकाप्रकाशे शब्दमहार्णवन्यासे तृतीयाध्यायस्य चतुर्थः पादः॥ ब॥ ग्रंथाग्रं० १५९० ॥ ॥ शुभं भवतु ॥ मंगलमस्तु ॥ This commentary is different from the Tattvaprakāśikā-tikā by Padmanābha noticed by Bühler in his Catalogue (IV. 16) of Mss. in the Private Libraries of Gujarat. The सिद्धशब्दार्णव, No.466 of 1882-83, is not grammar but कोश.
