Acharya Dharasena taught the Shatkhandagama and the Mahabandha to Acharyas Pushpadanta and Bhütabali. Acharya Virasena wrote an exhaustive commentary on the Shatkhandagama in 72,000 slokas and this is known as the Dhavala.
