INTRODUCTION There are some instances of ka-suffix without any appreciable change in the meaning : #62 ( 46.9 ), Zach (65.14), HE77# (9.2). The word 777 ( 65.13 ) shows change in meaning.
Certain words may be noted for their striking spelling : GTARTHI ( 11.10 ) for ATTITAT, #ge ( 79.1 ) for øye, 9707172 (103.19) for 1799, igaz: (114.4) for adal, HETI (60.5) for fit. There is no clear distinction made between Fem. nouns ending in -ī or -ī. Nouns ending in -n are often reduced to a ending : HATÁfrast ( 49,21 ), HATÁTY ( 138.20 ) for 40:. A noun ending in -s is taken as - a ending (Fem.): 194TICET (73.19).
An indeclinable particle like gja: is treated as a noun ( on par with thta ) ending in -a and one gets the form ta ( 98.11 ). One can compare the Prākrit usage se for 37941.
Some liberty is taken in gender, for instance, qaiat (93.16) for auffo (meaning year).
Coming to Declensions, the Acc. once stands without any termination : 4 Safarrah (20.6). Instr. is used for Abl.. : Arria (generally for - ara) ga Fra: (40.3); note also agisa aitata (45.22); for Loc. 2 (for To ) ala: (45.10). Gen. is often used for the Dative: 19774 CTI (17.22); TTT: zafirax ( 12.11 ). In a compound expression is: takes the place of TIERI, TEINISTIS: (22.9). Til faga: ( 53.21 ) is a loose usage : either it should stand for Nom. sg., or it is a mistaken paraphrase of techì fanti. Loc. is used for Acc. Te (for tifa) Tafasafa (42.2); for Abl. TEHTA (for HIFATTT) निवृत्तः ( 64.22 ). The use of Loc. आम्रवृक्षे (for आम्रवृक्षस्य अधः ) is interesting (31.21).
