407. Olakkur: (Tami). In Archaic characters of the Pallava or the early Ganga-Pallava period. On a slab set up in the Brahman street in village Olakkür : Records that the much worn image at the top of the slab was caused to be cut by the king. The image itself, perhaps, represents Pividiviviḍanga-Kurati. The inscription show that Jainism was under royal support in the district. Nandivarman cut out, for example, a similar image at Pañchapaṇḍavamalai near Arcot.
