The group at Anjaneri is most important as it is in a better state of preservation and consists of temples, rest houses or Dharmaśālās and mathas in a walled enclosure. The earliest of these is temple No. 2 which bears an inscription dated Saka 1063; dedicated to Chandraprabha (List of Inscriptions of the Deccan). Fully described-temples Nos, 1 and 2 and 3. All Digambaras.
