રત્નપ્રભા નામની પહેલી નરકની પૃથ્વી છે. તેની સપાટી ઉપર અસંખ્ય દ્વોપ અને સમુદ્રો છે. તે પૂરતીને ફરતે ઘોદધિ છે, તેને ફરતે ઘનવાયુ છે. અને તેને ફરતે તનુવાયુ છે. सनी MSIL मे सामने सेंसा गरगननी छे. इस नाम की पहिली नरक पृथ्वी है । उसके जारी तल पर असंत्र्य द्वीप और समुद्र हैं। उस पृथ्वीको घरनेवाला घनोदधि है। उसको घेरनेवाला धनवायु है । उसे घेरनेवाला तनुवात है। इस पृथ्वी को मोटाई एक लाख अस्सी हजार योजन की है। Earth, so named, of the first hell on the surface of which there are numberless islands and seas. There is Tanuvāta ( fine thin wind) encircling Ghanavāta (dense wind) which itself surrounds Ghanodadhi that is around this earth. Its thickness is 1,80,000 yojanas.
